About Me
My name is Levi Joraanstad. I was born and raised in Rolla, moving to Fargo to attend NDSU. I’ve been blacksmithing since 2018, when I built a box of dirt fueled by charcoal briquettes and a hair dryer. Since then, I have continued to learn all I can about forging.
I began helping teach classes at Crooked Lane Farm in Colfax, ND in 2020. I took that a step further in July 2023 when I started teaching classes out of my garage in north Fargo to meet the demand.
In fall 2024, my family and I moved to Maddock where I continue to teach classes and blacksmithing. I have a love for all things blacksmithing and a passion to bring teach this craft to our great state. Everything sold through Lesja Forge is hand-crafted in my shop using traditional techniques combined with modern tools to create quality products.
Let's forge something together!
